Festival information
Japan & Korea Food Festival: visitor information
The Japan & Korea Food Festival focuses on Japanese and Korean food culture. This is the official information for planning your visit. The next edition’s date, opening hours and exact venue have not yet been published.
What is a food festival?
A food festival brings together different food vendors. Visitors can order from individual stalls or food trucks and explore different dishes. Our culinary focus is Japan and Korea. The final selection depends on the confirmed participants.
Japanese and Korean street food
Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup; gyoza are filled dumplings. Korean street food includes gimbap, rice rolls with various fillings, and dishes featuring kimchi, fermented vegetables. These examples explain the cuisines and do not guarantee that every dish will be available at the next edition.
Dates, venue and travel
Check the official announcement on this website before travelling. Until the venue is confirmed, we cannot provide reliable directions, parking prices or step-free access details. A city name or an atmosphere photo does not confirm a venue.
Allergens, vegetarian and vegan options
Before ordering, ask the vendor about ingredients, allergens and cross-contact. The name of a dish does not tell you enough about soy, wheat, sesame, fish or shellfish. Vegetarian dishes may still contain eggs or milk. The individual vendor can explain how the food is prepared.
How can I get updates?
You can sign up for festival news on the homepage. We also publish the programme and practical updates there once confirmed. Use the contact page for questions you cannot find an answer to.
